ESHORTLETBOOK ("we", "us") offers furnished apartments, car hire, event centres, barbers and hairstylists (E-HairHub), flight requests and table reservations, mainly in Abuja, through eshortletbook.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Booking and request details: your full name, phone number, email address, the service you ask for, dates, number of guests, notes and, for property owners who list with us, property details and photos.
- Account details: your email address and name when you register or sign in. If you choose Google, Facebook or Apple to sign in, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We never receive your password for those services.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Paystack. We receive a payment reference and the amount and status of the payment. We do not see or store your card number.
- Preferences: your saved apartments and chosen currency, stored on your account and in your browser.
How we use it
- To process and confirm your bookings and requests, and to contact you about them by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To let you sign in and see your bookings, saved places and payments.
- To take payment, prevent double-booking and fraud, and keep our records.
- To answer your questions and improve our service.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the site and your booking: Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (website hosting), Paystack (payments), the email service that delivers sign-in codes and booking messages, and, if you choose it, Google, Facebook or Apple for sign-in. We also share the details needed to deliver a service with the host, driver, venue or stylist providing it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting duties. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing or messaging us using the contact details below. You can also edit your name and phone number under Account, Personal info. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Security
Your information is stored with reputable providers, sent over encrypted connections, and protected by access controls. No online service is completely risk-free, so please keep your email account secure.
Cookies and browser storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your currency, saved places and booking progress. We do not use it for advertising.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
